BMRIT introduces students to the basic bifurcation of the science of Radiology, such as Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Diagnostic Radiology concerns itself with the use of X Ray imaging and allied techniques for diagnoses of diseases and effects of the in jay on the body. Interventional Radiology deals with the use of invasive procedures for diagnosis and treatment with the employment of imaging technology (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI). Students can pursue PhD or MPhil degrees to specialize in a broad range of allied fields like Diagnostic Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Radiology, Pain Medicine, and Neuro radiology.
